Fun Drops...continued...

With January getting nearer by the minute am busy now making more pendants.

Also had a request to make some matching earings for a 'Fun Drops' admirer, all very positive so far!

"Mixed Races" acrylic on streched canvas

The Dala Horses you see is a painting I have done for a girlfriend. It is titled "Mixed Races".
It evolved from a discussion we had had, with another Swedish girlfriend and our Swedish selves, about being in a different country from the one that our customs and beliefs have come from, and the affects we had experienced from being 'different'.
I was thinking about that conversation whilst painting this, and am glad to say she loves it!
The Dala Horse is a traditional carved painted horse, handmade in Dalarna, Sweden. A very proud symbol of Sweden that has been, and still is, hand carved and hand painted for over 400 years, each one is unique.
