This piece was inspired by Albany artist Sue Cody's exhibition 'Paper, Scissors, Frock' where the artist had used a dress shape with all the symbols/images cut out of one sheet of black paper.My version of the 'Dress' tells a personal story of a girls life to date, as she celebrates her 26th birthday.
The process has been alot of fun, the cutting out however has left me with the sorest of arms!
